Parmalat is a company with a global presence, having major operations in Europe, Latin America, North America and Australia specializing in UHT milk and milk derivatives (yoghurts, cheeses, butters, ice creams, etc).

Project: Implement VMware Infrastructure 3.0 servers.

Working as Project Manager and Consultant for InfoGroup Sistemas, my job included:

• Install and setup the SAN solution using HP MSA 1000 and HP Proliant DL 380 G4.
• Install and setup the backup solution using HP MSL 6030.
• Install and setup a VMware Infrastructure 3 cluster (VMware ESX Server 3.0).
• Create and deploy of VMware virtual machines with Windows Server 2003.
• Virtualization of Windows physical servers (P2V).
• Migrate data from physical servers to virtual servers.
• Implementing Symantec Backup Exec v10.0
• Design backup policies for the solution.
• Training in Symantec Backup Exec v10.0 and VMware Infrastructure 3.
